Privacy Policy

Last updated: 21 September 2026 · Applies to the wellnest mobile app, the wellnest web app, and wellnest Business OS.

1. Who we are

wellnest is a wellness marketplace and business platform operating in Jordan. Customers use wellnest to discover and book fitness, beauty, recovery, and lifestyle experiences. Wellness businesses use wellnest Business OS to publish their schedules, confirm payments, and manage their clients.

This policy is issued by Health Nest Software Development Company, a company registered in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan under Commercial Registration No. 83017 (National Establishment Number 200214207), trading as wellnest, of Khoury Plaza, Office No. 6, Mohammad Al Ajlouni St., Paris Square, Jabal Al-Weibdeh, Amman, Jordan ("wellnest", "we", "us"). We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

2. What this policy covers

This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what control you have over it. It applies to:

wellnest is a marketplace. The classes, appointments, and sessions you book are delivered by independent wellness businesses, not by wellnest. Those businesses handle your information as described in section 5, and their own privacy practices apply to what they do with it once they receive it.

3. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to operate bookings and your account.

Information you give us

WhatWhy we need it
First and last nameTo identify your booking to you and to the business you book with.
Email addressAccount login, booking confirmations, reminders, and password resets.
Phone numberSo the business can reach you about your booking, and for booking-related notifications.
PasswordTo secure your account. Passwords are stored only in hashed form and are never visible to us.
Date of birthTo confirm you meet the minimum age for the platform, and because some providers have age requirements for certain classes or treatments.
GenderOptional. Some providers offer women-only or men-only sessions and need this to allocate places correctly.
Wellness interestsOptional. Used to order what you see first when you browse.
Profile photoOptional. Shown on your own profile. If you add one, the app asks for permission to access your photo library at that moment.
Reviews and ratingsPublished on the provider's listing with your first name, so other customers can see them.
CliQ sender nameWhen you pay by CliQ, the name the transfer will arrive under, so the business can match your transfer to your booking.

Information created as you use wellnest

Information collected automatically

If you are a wellness business

If you use wellnest Business OS, we also process your business name and category, business contact details, service and class listings, schedule and capacity, staff names and photos you choose to upload, pricing, packs and memberships, cancellation policies, your CliQ alias, and the client and booking records generated through your account. Your public business profile — name, category, description, photos, location, services, schedule, and reviews — is visible to anyone browsing wellnest.

4. How we use your information

We use your personal information to:

We rely on the following bases for this processing: performance of our contract with you (bookings, account), your consent (optional fields, location, marketing, photo library access), our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service improvement), and compliance with legal obligations.

5. What the business you book sees

When you book, we share with that specific business only what it needs to deliver your session: your first and last name, the session and time you booked, your booking status, whether you attended, the payment method you chose and whether it has been confirmed, the CliQ sender name where you provided one, your phone number and email address so it can contact you about the booking, and your gender where the session has a gender requirement.

That business becomes an independent controller of the information it receives, and it is responsible for handling your information lawfully and respectfully. Businesses on wellnest agree not to use your contact details for unrelated marketing. Businesses do not receive your password, your date of birth, or your booking history with other businesses.

6. Payments

wellnest does not process payments. There is no card entry, no payment processor, and no payment taken inside the app. You settle directly with the business, and the booking records which method you chose and whether the business has confirmed receipt.

Because no payment passes through wellnest, we hold no card numbers, bank account numbers, or payment credentials of any kind. Your booking shows as pending until the business confirms your payment has arrived.

If we introduce card payments in future, this section will be updated to name the payment provider before that option becomes available to you.

7. Location

Location is optional. If you grant location permission, we use your device location to sort nearby businesses by distance and to centre the map view. You can decline, and wellnest still works — you simply browse and search by area instead. You can withdraw the permission at any time in your device settings. We do not track your location in the background and we do not build a location history.

8. Calendar

If you choose to add a booking to your calendar, we create a calendar entry containing the session name, business name, time, and location. We do not read your existing calendar events. This only happens when you ask for it.

9. Notifications and reminders

We send transactional messages you cannot opt out of while you hold an active booking — confirmations, reminders, changes, and cancellations — because they are part of the service you asked for. Marketing messages about promotions and new businesses are separate, and you can opt out of them at any time from your account settings or by using the unsubscribe link in the message.

10. Service providers

We use a small number of providers to run the platform. They act on our instructions and may only use your information to provide their service to us:

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so, to establish or defend legal claims, or to protect the rights and safety of our users, our businesses, or the public.

11. We do not sell your data

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertising networks or data brokers. We do not use your personal information to target you with third-party advertising, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

12. How long we keep data

13. Your rights and choices

You can, at any time:

14. Deleting your account

You can delete your account yourself, from inside the app, without contacting us: go to Profile → Settings → Delete account and confirm. Deletion is permanent.

When you delete your account we remove your profile, contact details, photo, favourites, interests, and future bookings. Your published reviews may remain visible without your name. We keep the minimum booking and payment records we are legally required to keep for accounting and tax purposes, as described in section 12. If you would rather we handled the deletion for you, email us and we will action it.

15. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and stored with our hosting providers with access controls in place. Passwords are hashed. Access to customer data by our own team is limited to those who need it to provide support or operate the service. Businesses can only see records belonging to their own account.

No system is completely secure. If a breach occurs that is likely to affect your rights, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.

16. Children

wellnest is not intended for children. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If a minor attends a class, an adult account holder must make the booking and is responsible for it. If we learn that we hold information about a child who registered directly, we will delete it. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

17. International transfers

Some of our service providers store or process data on servers outside Jordan. Where information is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected to the standard described in this policy, including through contractual commitments with those providers.

18. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the platform develops. We will change the "last updated" date at the top of this page, and where the change is significant we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use wellnest after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.

19. Contact us

For any question about this policy, or to exercise any of the rights in section 13:

We aim to respond to privacy requests within 30 days.
